Tripoli’s began with our family’s recipes and a simple wish: to share the food of Libya and North Africa the way it is served at home, generously and with warmth. Since 2011, we have welcomed San Antonio to our table. Today, our Alamo Ranch dining room brings together slow-simmered Libyan classics, Middle Eastern favorites and a coffee bar rooted in tradition, all of it halal.

This place is spectacular! My wife and I stopped by on a whim one night. Our server, Daylon, did an amazing job. He gave amazing recommendations, was knowledgeable about the menu, and very kind and chatty. We loved the Embattan—it was amazing and perfectly seasoned. My wife adored the Tunisian chicken bowl. I told the server to surprise me with something from the menu and the Hyraimi that came out was delicious. This is the best place we’ve eaten in San Antonio, and of all the places we’ve eaten around the world, we rank this with the best of them. I can’t recommend this place enough!
Honestly, Tripoli's is one of the only places here where you can find authentic North African food, and it truly tastes like home. The flavors, spices, and quality were all on point. Everything was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was kind and professional, and you can tell they really care about their food and customers. If you’re looking for real Mediterranean / North African cuisine, I definitely recommend this spot. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Tripoli’s hosted our Eid holiday breakfast, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place! Everything was absolutely amazing. Starting from the reservation process all the way to the final cup of coffee and dessert, and everything in between. The service was phenomenal, and the food was a perfect 10 out of 10. WHAT ARE TRIPOLI’S HOURS?
We are open Monday and Wednesday through Sunday from 11 AM to 9 PM and closed on Tuesdays. Dine in, pick up or order online at tripolistogo.com.
WHAT IS LIBYAN FOOD?
Libyan cuisine is North African home cooking, rich with warm spices, slow-simmered sauces and dishes made for sharing. Try our Libyan Couscous, Embakbaka (spiced Libyan pasta), Hyraimi and Sharba Libiya, a traditional Libyan soup.
DO YOU SERVE SPECIALTY COFFEE AND DESSERTS?
Yes. Our coffee bar serves Turkish coffee, Café Arabia, cortados, lattes and pour-overs, along with matcha in rose, cardamom and orange blossom. For dessert, try our kunafa, baklawa, basbusa or a Dubai chocolate bite.
